This privacy policy explains what personal data LAIKA Casting SIA collects on this website, why it collects it, and how long it is kept.

What we collect
The site has one contact form. When you fill it in, we store only what you type into it:
- your name,
- your email address and/or phone number,
- your message,
- the address of the page you sent it from.
To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour. The IP address itself is never stored, and the hash is deleted after that hour.
We use no analytics tools and build no visitor profiles.
Why we process it
Only to answer your message and, if work follows from it, to talk to you about that work. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in replying to someone who writes to us).
We send no newsletters and pass your details to nobody for direct marketing.
How long we keep it
Six months from the day your message arrives. After that the message and the contact details in it are deleted automatically and permanently — it happens on its own, without you having to ask.
If work does follow, the data belonging to that work is kept for as long as the contract and Latvian accounting law require.
Who we share it with
Nobody, apart from the service providers the site and our mail run on — our hosting provider and our email provider. They process the data only on our instructions. We transfer no data outside the European Economic Area.
Cookies and embedded content
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, which is why it has no cookie banner. WordPress sets cookies only when someone logs in to the site’s admin.
- Portfolio pages embed Vimeo video. It is loaded in do-not-track mode, so Vimeo builds no profile of you; when you press play, Vimeo does learn your IP address. See the Vimeo privacy policy.
- The contacts page embeds an OpenStreetMap map. Loading it means OpenStreetMap learns your IP address. See the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, and you can object to processing or ask for your data in a portable format. Write to info@laikacasting.com and we will answer within a month.
If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate: Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv, dvi.gov.lv.
